Winter in Walled Lake has its own kind of excitement, and this year it came with a $10,000 price tag.
The Greenhouse was proud to once again sponsor the Walled Lake Ice Fishing Derby. Somewhere out on the ice was a tagged fish named Ol’ Smokey, and whoever reeled him in walked away with $10,000 cash.
It’s community events like this, ice, cold, and all, that make Walled Lake such a fun place to call home.
